Quantum Heaps Appoints Roman Romancini as President, Latin America
Quantum Heaps names former Salesforce executive Roman Romancini President of Latin America to lead commercial operations and regional expansion.
Quantum Heaps appointed Roman Romancini as President, Latin America. He will lead the company commercial operations and expansion across the region and will report to Harsh Panwar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
Background on the appointment
The appointment comes weeks after Quantum Heaps named a global Chief Marketing Officer and Presidents for North America and EMEA. With Latin America added to North America, EMEA and Asia, the Singapore-headquartered company now operates with senior leadership and commercial operations in four regions. Quantum Heaps is an AI-native revenue technology company that started in Asia and is expanding across the globe.
Romancini brings more than 25 years of experience across Ericsson, Nokia, Oracle and Salesforce. He trained in physics before moving into sales and general management. At Salesforce he held a series of leadership roles over five and a half years, including Regional Vice President and then Senior Regional Vice President of Sales for Brazil, Area Vice President of Sales for Latin America, and Vice President of Sales for Salesforce Industries across EMEA and Latin America. His teams won awards for the World Largest Cloud Deal and Latin America Largest Transformational Deal. His time at Salesforce Industries links him to the rest of Quantum Heaps new leadership team.
Leadership statements
Romancini said he has spent his career watching revenue teams in Latin America pay for complexity through too many tools, too many integrations and too little clarity on what actually drives growth. Harsh Panwar said Quantum Heaps was founded in Singapore but was never built to stay there. He noted that in just a few weeks the company has put world-class leaders in North America, EMEA and now Latin America. Panwar added that Romancini has closed some of the largest cloud transformations the region has seen and knows how Latin American enterprises buy, build and grow.
What it means for revenue teams
Revenue teams in Latin America now have dedicated regional leadership focused on commercial operations and expansion. The addition of senior leadership across four regions gives the company a broader multinational structure with local presence in each area. Teams operating in the region may encounter a revenue technology platform that consolidates prospecting, pipeline, accounts, conversation intelligence, forecasting, enablement, commissions and analytics onto a single platform with one shared data model according to SalesTech Star.
