Smartly Partners with Roku to Extend Social Ad Tools to CTV

Smartly has partnered with Roku to connect directly to Roku Ads Manager through the Roku Ads API. The integration allows performance marketers to apply the same social advertising workflows to connected TV inventory on the top streaming platform in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

How the Roku Integration Works

The partnership removes the separate build process previously required for CTV campaigns. Marketers can now run CTV campaigns using existing social tools and data structures. The move addresses the gap between promised CTV reach and the measurable incrementality typically available in social channels.

Smartly Synapse and AI Orchestration

Smartly introduced Smartly Synapse, an AI orchestration and memory layer that converts campaign data, business context, and user input into coordinated actions across its AI agents. The layer supports a continuous workflow from planning through execution to optimization.

Wpromote x Giant Spoon and Horizon Media Expansions

Smartly embedded its creative and media activation capabilities into the Polaris IQ operating system of Wpromote x Giant Spoon. A prior structured pilot produced a 29 percent increase in lower-funnel ROAS on 26 percent less spend for one client through Predictive Budget Allocation. Campaign deployment across 50 geo-targeted markets now occurs in the same timeframe previously needed for single-market production, while manual reporting time fell by as much as 93 percent.

Smartly also expanded its relationship with Horizon Media Holdings. The company became the first SaaS platform activation partner to bring Blu audience segments into social, commerce, and connected TV workflows through the Blu Audience API. Initial campaigns delivered nearly double the creative engagement versus standard audience approaches and reduced cost per order by 35 percent.
