HubSpot released 15 updates in March 2026, focusing on improving flexibility in automation, workflows, timing logic, and CRM management to address previous limitations for teams. These changes include enhancements for adding meetings into workflows, refining conditional logic, and providing more control over time-based automation, as well as features for restoring CRM records and managing form behavior, according to MarTech. The updates are organized into categories that benefit managers, such as execution and engagement, and admins, like automation control and data structure.

Key Updates for Managers

Managers will find value in updates like Contact Send Time Optimization, which allows marketing emails to be sent based on individual contact engagement history rather than fixed times. This feature, in public beta for Marketing Hub Enterprise, enables staggering sends to improve open and click rates by delivering emails when contacts are most likely to interact. Another update involves the Sales Workspace, which now includes a redesigned summary page with customizable cards and better visibility into deals and meetings, in development for Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise tiers. Additionally, teams can create custom automated ticket messages based on pipeline stages, helping to automate customer communication without needing Marketing Hub.

Updates for Admins and System Flexibility

Admins gain new operators for conditional property logic and options to exclude weekends from "time between" calculations, enhancing precision in workflows. Other changes include the ability to unpublish forms, restore CRM properties and records, and set admin-defined column defaults in the line-item editor, all aimed at improving data structure and maintenance. The updates also introduce new formula options in CRM for conditional logic and integrate TikTok Ads, associating marketing emails to multiple campaigns.

Additional Features and Implications

Further enhancements include saving draft emails, editing scheduled emails, and a new Google Drive app, providing more control over email and campaign management, according to MarTech. As widely known in the SaaS industry, CRM platforms like HubSpot continually evolve to adapt to business needs, and these updates reflect that trend by streamlining operations. The legacy Sales Workspace will be phased out by April 27, 2026, transitioning teams to the new experience for a more unified interface.
